The Thomas S. Hallenboch Tenement is packed with oddballs. No one really knows for sure what everyone’s doing behind those doors, but it’s safe to say that it’d probably be a bad idea to barge in. The ventilation system is busted, the wallpaper is peeling and way out of style, and on top of that, there are strange noises during the night. But it’s the cheapest place to live in Madswit, so they say. Not to mention utility fees are taken care of.
But darn it, there’s some weirdos around here…What sort of weirdos? Well it’s probably best to find that out for yourself. ♠ Années Folles is a Multi-Fandom board, set in a city somewhere in North America, in a year somewhere between 1920 and 1928. To whom this may concern:
They have all been secretly living among us. Looking like everyone else, they are anything but uncommon. Possibly your best friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, or even your dog. Their minds are one of brilliance and their faces are exceptionally beautiful. Flawless. The only purpose in their life, the only goal of their entire existence, their only chance at survival is keeping the secret. Their lifespan is eternal, unless they can control themselves and they can choose if they want the changing to stop. Mortal or Immortal? As they learn the power of discipline, they have a better chance. Though this takes some time. The wolves and humans are oblivious of their interlacing lives. However the secret is hard to keep to yourself, you cannot control it until you gain the experience. What happens if someone slips? If their control breaks loose? What if ... the code is broken? Now it is time for our story to unfold, another storm for us to break through. I wish you luck, my friend.
But now new creatures have been spotted, and not only one type, many versions of another unknown species. They are said to have teeth as sharp as a knife, penetrating the necks of their victims. There are very few, but they are known. And another species has the record of appearing somewhat like a dragon, but in human form. One has told me that they have phantom wings, and phantom claws coming from their human bodies ... the world is full of surprises. Surprises that could either give you the thrill of a lifetime, or bring you to an early deathbed. Be careful where you take your breaths, they could be listening ...
Rating: PG-13. Genre: Sci-fi & Fantasy Mainly. Though we keep the appearances realistic for the most part, depending upon the species. Who can join? Anyone, from newcomers to extremely experienced. There’s a wide range amongst the site, and we all get along greatly.

Evlyn flinched when his hand touched hers to get to the doorknob. She recovered quickly, looking at him with a bored expression. "Looking forward to it," she intoned sardonically, under her breath as he walked away from the common room. She wanted to teach him a lesson, or so she was convincing herself. However, a growing resentment for this vampire was quickly blooming in her chest. As though she just wanted to let it go and stay away from him.
He wasn't going to let it go. Something about him told her that. So she'd just have to suck it up and set out to make his life miserable, even if it might do the same for her. She took a deep breath. The douche even got out of the common room before her. Well, she was still going to do some serious bullying... And with that thought in mind, she left the common room.

Izzie laughed, "Than I'll be the only angel there. Unless you tell everyone else that they can be angels. I, however, prefer to be unique."
Her heart felt less heavy at knowing Kale didn't think like that. "Well thank God for that." She laughed. "I always heard there was bad money in it anyway. Besides, I don't think I could be alluring enough." She joked.
A blind date would work I guess. Are you just gunna push him into me and scurry away?" She grinned. "Cause that works for me either way. And anything you can find out. But nothing crazy, like what sort of underwear he wears. Just siple things so it doesn't look like I hired a spy."
She squeezed her fingers together. "Actually, wax is often used to make skin softer." She said. "My hands are usually soft as butter back home 'cause back at the shop it's my job to wax the boards. You should try it some time. Girls love soft hands."

Kale laughed. "Well who says there arent angels in hell, how are we to know? Plus I am not one to judge." He smiled.
Kale watched her. "Now what kind of guy would I be if I forced you against your will to do something sexual with someone? That'd make me a pimp. And I dont do the whole pimp thing theres not enough money in it." He said winking at her.
He shook her hand. "Good I like deals." He felt the wax on her hands. And wiped his hand on his jeans. "No big thing whats a little wax going to do." He looked at her then to the school.
"Well anything in particular you want me to find out about the boy. I mean I think I will set you two up on a sort of blind date for my welcome to hell party. Work for you?"

Izzie playfully rolled her eyes. "I get that a lot. I guess I'd make a better angel, if of corse it was a Heaven and Hell party. I'd make a hell of an angel."
Her eyes lit up and finding out Kale knew him. "I'd be in your debt, Kale. But I have to have my restrictions." She said. "I refuse to do anything sexual, reguardless of who it's to or what for. And I won't do anything that uses my powers for bad. I made that promise to myself years ago."
She stood up and held her hand out. "Other then that we have a deal." Then she pulled it back, feeling the slippery wax coat her fingers. "Oops, sorry." She laughed.

Kale smiled, "The devil would be perfect. Although I am not sure you would make a believable devil you look much to innocent." He stood up. "But then again they always say it is the innocent ones you have to watch out for." He crossed his arms and thought for a moment.
"Ryder... James." He said looking down to her. "Thats his name. The kids from New York. I met him in the bathroom. He doesnt seem like the type of kid I would hang around with. But I guess I could find out more about him and arrange for a meet if the price was right." He grinned.
"How about your services? I will arrange a meeting between the two and find out anything important you want to know about him in return for when I need a favor you will help me the way I help you. How does that sound. Do we have a deal?" He asked with a smile.

She nodded. "I think a Welcome to hell party is very approprite. Can I dress up like a devil?" She teased.
"I don't want to be out of line or anything." She said, looking down. "But I've been lookng for this boy. He's about six foot two maybe. Freshman, light eyes, brown hair. Built. I think his name is Robert, Ryder, Reilly. But I've been wanting to meet him for a while." She looked up at him and smirked. "What will it cost me?"
